Ansião House
Ansião, 2015

There are two distinct architectural styles, which are separated not only by time, but also by differences in construction methods. The aim is to create a symbiotic relationship between them through respect for the existing structure. The relationship between the two emerges so naturally that one could never exist without the other.
Thus, the layout is determined not only by the characteristics of the site, but also by the golden ratio. This is because the human body is the most remarkable and obvious illustration of the golden ratio, and human presence is essential in defining a home.
